Australian Suppliers Get Informed

Australian corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting platform, Informed 365, is advancing their unique technology with two new key features in response to the growing demand for ethical supply chain and business management.

The tech-based solution now provides a personalised customised report for all suppliers who complete the self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ). The report includes a scorecard for all key metrics offering tips and advice which will underpin and drive supplier behaviour changes around environmental and social aspects.

Organisations are now also able to run their supplier database through the Informed 365 Slavery Risk Index (ISRI) which provides a high-level, first pass modern slavery risk assessment based on a supplier’s location and industry.

Informed 365 platforms are designed to track, monitor and visualise an organisation’s supply chain and to identify risks of modern slavery.

Informed 365 Chief Executive Officer, Nicholas Bernhardt, says the platform is an evolving service and these consistent updates will ensure their approach to tackling modern slavery and sustainable procurement is both current and comprehensive.

“With the continued changes in the business environment – particularly in response to the pressures of COVID-19 – it’s imperative that we are scan and report on real-time risks.  We work with organisations to develop customised, real-time CSR platforms with predictive capabilities and unlimited analytics to provide visibility and transparency that will allow for more informed decisions,” said Mr Bernhardt.

“The Informed 365 platform is an efficient, all-encompassing reporting tool for those required to report under the 2018 Modern Slavery Act,” he said.

The updates will educate organisations and their suppliers on their level of sustainability, the risks they could be facing and will provide a resource beyond what is currently offered to Australian businesses.

New Platform Features:

Score Card:

  • Offers vital data, comparisons, and advice to identify and highlight how a supplier can improve their CSR / ESG (Environment Social Governance) credentials and comply with buyer requirements
  • Use de-identified peer data to drive improvement
  • Encourage and underpin increased collaboration between buyers and vendors

Informed 365 Slavery Risk Index (ISRI):

  • Identify high-level Modern Slavery risks based on a supplier’s location and industry
  • Organisations can run their supplier database through the ISRI prior to even engaging with their suppliers and then focus on the higher risk suppliers which are identified by the tool. This is particularly relevant where organisations may have thousands or even tens of thousands of suppliers.

Informed 365 are the leading tech solution for over 3,000 for Australian companies legally required to report under the 2018 Modern Slavery Act. The Act’s first statement deadline was extended to March 2021 due to COVID-19.
